How Item Upgrade Can Be Your Next Big Obsession

Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can sometimes increase the performance of a piece of gear and sometimes even its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are made available.

For instance, the top shield of racial violence Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to add additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the un-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens permit you to reroll a purchased item, such as a weapon, armor or ring. This swaps the current item for a different one of the same type, with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable way to upgrade gear. However, they do not retain the quality of the original item and any resources wasted will not be refunded.

Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors by a variety of means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in crates and chests or buy them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of a piece equipment for example, increasing its damage.

Players can roll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage done by weapons and melee attacks while spell power upgrades mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player an additional amount of health.

Three types of rerolls tokens are available such as upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a higher quality, with the requirement of a higher-level reroll token in order to produce it. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, rare upgrades require a unique or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

The marker for rerolling, unlike markers or tokens placed on action spaces remains on the space till the next Success is rerolled. This lets you avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the beginning of each preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by grabbing on to them. When they are opened, they display a description and icon for the appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for the amount of coins.

As a result, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool when you run. This alters the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop offers to reroll and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and other accessories. These stones are special stones which increase the level of an item by increasing its stats or characteristics. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. These stones can also be obtained by players who sign daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment, players must first find the item they want to upgrade and then click the "level up" button. This will display a list of the item's level, and what it will become after being leveled-up. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.

After deciding on what to upgrade, players must then select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. After the player has met the requirements, he can hit the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. The item will be raised in level a certain percentage. The process of upgrading can last between a few seconds and minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process is also completely risk-free and does not affect the durability of the item. This is an excellent option for players who want to gain an advantage in combat, but don't want to burden their wallets. By clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded piece of gear onto an entirely new piece of equipment.

New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. However, there are many ways to obtain these stones, such as contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that lets you increase the stats of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials, and pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade components will be consumed and the item will be upgraded to an upgrade to a higher level. The process will continue until the item reaches its highest level.

Items with upgraded stats will have a blue icon next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be added to more than one item at the same time. Each upgrade component requires the purchase of a certain amount of items as well as a certain level of equipment.

The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the left one is where players can add equipment that needs that they wish to upgrade, and the right side shows a glimpse of what the equipment will appear like when it reaches its next level. When a player has enough materials and has pressed the yellow arrow will initiate the upgrade process.

An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its base stats will be increased by a small amount. The maximum level of an item is 19.

Once an item has reached its highest level, upgrades will no longer be available for it. Once a piece of equipment attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades to that track will come with a discount.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be slotted into armor, weapons trinkets and gathering tools to provide an additional bonus or effect while the equipment is equipped. They can be bought from vendors, looted, obtained by completing quests or traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped with new ones. However, this can ruin the previous upgrade.

Requirements

Items upgrades enable players to increase certain attributes of armor and weapons they already have. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the type of item however, you'll generally require Dilithium along with an amount of Upgrade tokens.

The items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to equipment and weapons. These will provide more effects or an improved item level. These upgrades can come from many sources, including crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting during bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component is inserted into an item, it isn't able to be removed or changed without restriction, however, the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped without limitation.

Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, some upgrade components include additional modifiers that could further increase the stats of an item.

The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun" For instance, increases defense base and adds an additional 20 percent chance to block.  item upgrades  "Wildfire" however increases damage from weapons.

Upgrades can be beneficial for some items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable to players when they achieve the perfect roll. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.

The game will display the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that goes into the item. These include the item type (either weapon or armor) and the level of the item, the Upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.

Once you've satisfied the requirements for upgrading the game will put the item in your inventory and the progress bar will be updated to show how close to completing it. You can also check the status of an  item upgrade  by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
